Cherri didn’t just stumble into bookkeeping; she built a career on it, one ledger at a time. Since entering the financial industry in 1983, she has worn every hat: tax preparer, bookkeeper, and trusted advisor. She attended Southeastern University in Hammond, Louisiana. Cherri combined a solid academic foundation with real-world experience across multiple sectors in the financial industry before launching her own bookkeeping practice in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in 2006.
1983 — A Career Begins Cherri entered the financial industry and began building expertise across a wide range of accounting and financial roles, gaining the broad-based knowledge that would define her career for decades to come.
Early Career — Tax Experience with H&R Block, Cherri sharpened her tax preparation skills at H&R Block, developing hands-on expertise in individual and business tax returns that continues to benefit her Dallas-Fort Worth clients today.
2006 — Launched DFW Bookkeeping Practice. After more than two decades in the financial industry, Cherri launched her own bookkeeping practice serving the Dallas, Fort Worth, and surrounding DFW Metroplex communities, putting her expertise directly in the hands of local small business owners.
2006–Present — Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. A QuickBooks ProAdvisor since opening her practice, Cherri is certified in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online across all versions, making her one of the most experienced QuickBooks bookkeepers in the DFW area.
